Entrance Test

Entrance Tests for MBA and B.Ed.

IGNOU conducts entrance examinations for MBA and B.Ed. Programmes. For MBA there will be entrance test twice a year and for B.Ed. once in a year. The details of the entrance tests and the due date for submission of forms are as follows :

Programme	Admission Session	Date of Submission of Application	Probable Dates of Entrance
MBA	July	01^st Sep to 30^th Nov	1^st or 3^rd Sunday of February
MBA and B.Ed.	January	1^st Apr to 31^st May	1^st or 3^rd Sunday of August

For MBA, the filled in entrance form should reach the Registrar, SRED, IGNOU, Maidangarhi, New Delhi-110068 before 30^th June for August entrance test and 31^st December for February entrance test. Entrance test form for B.Ed programme should reach the Regional Centre, Ahmedabad on or before 15^th July of every year.
Admission to Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT), Advanced Diploma in Information Technology (ADIT) programmes are available through a national entrance test, which is conducted in the month of August. Advertisement inviting applications for the entrance test is usually issued in April/May.
For Commonwealth Executive Master of Business Adminstration (CEMBA) and Commonwealth Executive Master of Public Administration (CEMPA) the advertisements are issued in April and October every year for the entrance tests to be held in May and November for July and January Session respectively.

Revised B.Ed.-2011 ADMISSION NOTIFICATION

This is in continuation to admission notification issued in national dailies on 5th August 2010 inviting applications for admission to B.Ed.-2011 programme wherein 50% marks in Bachelors or a Higher Degree from a recognized University (Relaxation of 5% for Reserved Category applicants as per Government of Indira Guidelines) was mentioned as eligibility criteria, however, 50% marks is not applicable to the persons appointed as teacher prior to 26th July 2010. Other criteria remain the same.

The Regional Centre, Lucknow has supplied the study material to all the study centres for the students who were admitted in January 2011 admission cycle. In case you have not yet collected the study material please contact to your study centre immediately.

Please always keep student identity card Issued by the Regional Centre whenever you visit to the Regional Centre, Study Centre or Examination Centre not only for security purpose but proper verification

Note : Please submit the EXAMINATION FORM along with the fee demand draft in favour of IGNOU payable at LUCKNOW, at IGNOU Regional Centre, B-1/33, Sector-H, Aliganj, Lucknow as per the above schedule.

Before submitting the examination form please ensure that:

The required number of assignments as applicable for the course(s) filled in the examination form have been submitted.
The authentication certificate is duly signed by the Coordinator/Incharge of your Study Centre/PSC/PI…etc.
Registration for the course(s) is valid and not time-barred.
Examination fee 60/- per course has been remitted and the relevant proof enclosed.
In case examination fee is submitted through demand draft please ensure that the demand draft is made in favour of IGNOU and payable at the city of the Regional Centre where you are submitting your examination form.
The enrolment number, programme code, course code are correctly filled in the examination form.
In case of non-compliance of any of the above conditions candidature for appearing in the Term-end Examination will not be considered and no Hall Ticket will be issued.

PLEASE NOTE:

» Examination fee per course is - 60/- (Examination fee once paid will not be refunded/adjusted in any case)
» Examination form to be submitted at - Regional Centre under which your examination centre falls.
» Demand draft to be made in favour of - IGNOU and payable at the city where submitting the exam form

Assignment:

The University, with immediate effect, has made the submission of assignments mandatory for issue of hall tickets. Therefore, all the concerned students are required to ensure validity of registration and submission of assignments for the course which they intend to appear for the term-end examination and get their examination form authenticated from their Study Centres / Programme Study Centres / Special Study Centres / Recognized Study Centres / Partner Institutions / Community Colleges / Convergence Centres / Programme Coordinators, etc. to this effect and submit the same at the Regional Centre to which their opted examination centre pertains.
