Before sending the form to IGNOU please check whether you have:
Affixed your photograph and signed over it
Enclosed the following certificates
1. Certificate in support of your educational
qualification(s). If you are applying for BCA/MCA and have
studied Mathematics at 10+2 level, attach marks sheet as
proof.
2. Experience Certificate wherever required
3. Category Certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates
4. Age Certificate where required
5. Student Card duly filled in along with photograph.
6. Acknowledgement Card duly affixed the postage stamp for
Rs.2/-
Attached Demand Draft for the Programme Fee / Fee for
the First Year / First Semester and have written Your Name,
Programme Code and Application No. on the reverse of the
Demand Draft.
For Bsc(N) & PGDMCH only Registration Fee (Rs.100/-) has
to be paid. The Fee/Programme Fee will be collected from the
selected candidates only.
Attention is drawn to the sections regarding eligibility
to the programme. Kindly submit attested copies of relevant
documents to establish your eligibility.
The fee is to be paid only by way of a Demand Draft
drawn in favour of IGNOU and Payable at the City where your
Regional Centre is situated.
Preparatory Programme in Computing (PPC)
MCA / BCA : Those who have not studied Mathematics at
the 10+2 level will be required to successfully complete the
Preparatory Programme in Computing (PPC) concurrently with
the 1st / 2nd Semester and such candidates are also required
to pay an additional fee of Rs. 600/- alongwith the
admission form.
Reservation
The University provides reservation of seats for
SC/ST/OBC, Wards of Paramilitary Forces, Wards of Defence
Personnel and Physically Handicapped Learners, as per the
Government of India rules, for various programmes of the
University.
Scholarships and Reimbursement of Fee
Reserved Categories, viz. SC/ST/OBC and Physically
Handicapped learners have to pay the fee at the time of
admission to the University along with other general
category candidates.
Physically Handicapped learners admitted to IGNOU are
eligible for Government of India scholarships. They are
advised to collect scholarship forms from the respective
State Government Directorate of Social Welfare or Office of
the Social Welfare Officer and submit the filled-in forms to
them through the concerned Regional Director of IGNOU.
Similarly, SC/ST, OBC learners have to collect and
subsequently submit their scholarships forms to the
respective State’s Directorate of Social Welfare or Office
of the Social Welfare Officer, through the concerned
Regional Director of IGNOU for reimbursement of programme
fee.
Scholarship scheme of National Centre for Promotion of
Employment of Disabled People (NCPEDP) for Post Graduate
level programme is applicable to the students of this
University also. Such students are advised to apply to
awarding authority.
Incomplete and Late Applications
Incomplete application forms / Re-registration forms,
received after due date applications having wrong options of
courses or electives or false information, will be summarily
rejected without any intimation to the learners. The
learners are, therefore, advised to fill the relevant
columns carefully and enclose the attested copies of all the
certificates asked for, and submit the form to the Regional
Director concerned on or before the due date.
Simultaneous Registration
Students who are already enrolled in a programme of one
year or longer duration can also simultaneously register
themselves for any certificate programme of 6 months
duration. However, if there is any clash of dates of
counseling or examination schedule of the two programmes
taken, University would not be in a position to make
adjustment.
Disputes on Admission & Other University Matters
The place of jurisdiction of filling of suit, if
necessary, will be only at New Delhi / Delhi.
